The 16 contesting teams who will head to the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2025 have been confirmed.
Germany – who had qualified as one of the semifinalists at the European Mixed Team Championships – declined the invitation. The invitation was then sent to the next highest-ranked European teams such as Spain followed by the Netherlands, but with both teams declining, Czechia, the team next in line based on ranking, accepted the offer to compete.
The 19th edition of the BWF Sudirman Cup Finals (World Mixed Team Championships) will be held in Xiamen from 27 April to 4 May 2025.

The qualifiers consist of the reigning champions, hosts, the four semifinalists each from the Asian and European mixed team continental championships, and the winners of the mixed team continental championships of Africa, Oceania and Pan Am. The remaining spots in the 16 are taken by teams with the highest team ranking points as of 18 February 2025.
Indonesia, China, Thailand and Japan qualified as the four semifinalists of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships in Qingdao, while Denmark, France and England and Germany originally qualified as semifinalists of the 2025 European Mixed Team Championships in Baku.
Algeria, Australia and Canada qualified as winners of their respective continental championships.

As China are also the hosts and defending champions, additional qualifying spots from the same continent (Asia) became available, which were taken by Korea and Malaysia.
The remaining spots were taken by Chinese Taipei, India and Hong Kong China based on team ranking.
The group stage draw for the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2025 will be held on 13 March 2025.
